Measurements you can trust

A plant is only as good as its measurements. We install, wire, calibrate and maintain the instruments that tell your control system what is happening, from tank levels to tonnes on a belt.

Try it

A 4 to 20 mA loop

Most process instruments send their reading as a current between 4 and 20 mA. Move the tank level, then break the wire, and watch what the PLC sees.

4 mA means empty (0 m) and 20 mA means full (10 m). Because the bottom of the range is 4 mA, not 0, the PLC can tell an empty tank from a broken wire.
Belt scales

How a conveyor weighs what it carries

A belt scale multiplies two measurements: how heavy each metre of belt is, and how fast the belt moves. Adjust both to see the flow rate.

Load cells80 kg/mSpeed sensor2.5 m/sINTEGRATOR720 t/h

80 kg/m × 2.5 m/s = 200 kg/s

200 kg/s × 3.6 = 720 t/h

Totaliser: 0.0 t (simulated, one second here is one minute on the belt).

Accuracy depends on calibration, belt tension, idler alignment and keeping the weigh area clean. We install, calibrate and maintain belt scales.

What we do

Instrumentation work

  • Level, flow, pressure and temperature instruments installed and wired
  • Loop checks from the field device to the PLC, with signed sheets
  • Calibration against reference instruments, with certificates
  • Conveyor belt scales installed, calibrated and maintained
  • Instrument data sheets, loop drawings and tag lists kept up to date
  • Supply of instruments and spares to the original specification

Instruments that need installing, calibrating or fixing?

Send us the tag list or describe the measurement, and we will plan the work.
