Copper process · 09 / Separate product and water
Concentrate dewatering
Dewatering prepares concentrate for handling and transport. Thickening and filtration can form parts of the selected arrangement. Product and recovered-water outlets are distinct; this illustration does not prescribe moisture targets or predict filter performance.
What arrives
Concentrate slurry from the selected flotation circuit
What leaves
Dewatered concentrate and a separate water/filtrate stream
Equipment and support
Loading component explorer.
- Thickener and rake
Provides settling and solids-handling interfaces in the selected installation.
- Filter interface
Separates additional liquid from the concentrate.
- Filtrate and water return
Keeps recovered water separate from the product stream.
Sources and equipment-specific detail
No typical motor ratings, throughput or operating targets are assumed. Supply nameplate and application information for an equipment-specific discussion. The cable tool retains its existing limitations.
