Tailings and water
Material not recovered into concentrate follows the selected tailings circuit. Recovered process water has its own return path. This page explains equipment and signals at those interfaces; tailings storage, environmental and geotechnical design require their own specialist scope.
What arrives
Remaining process slurry and recoverable water streams
What leaves
Tailings handling and process-water return interfaces
Equipment and support
Loading component explorer.
- Tailings pumping
Transfers slurry within the specified tailings arrangement.
- Water recovery
Returns suitable recovered water into the process-water system.
- Analysis opportunity
Offers a place to assess residual-element measurement in a suitable slurry system.
Sources and equipment-specific detail
No typical motor ratings, throughput or operating targets are assumed. Supply nameplate and application information for an equipment-specific discussion. The cable tool retains its existing limitations.
- Copper extraction and beneficiation
EPA technical background: crushing, grinding, flotation and process boundaries. Historical reference, not a site design.
- Slurry elemental analysis
A separate slurry application using suitable sampling and analysis equipment.
